TOLEDO, OH (PRESS RELEASE) – The Toledo Walleye announced today that several members of the team will be participating in this year’s “Movember” campaign.

In an effort to show support for and promote awareness of men’s health, Walleye players Carter Hutton, Joey Martin, and Paul Zanette will grow moustaches for the month of November. 

“Movember” encourages men around the world to grow moustaches during the entire month of November to increase awareness of prostate cancer and other men’s health issues, as well as raise funds for programs supported by “Movember”.

TOLEDO, OH (PRESS RELEASE) - ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital, in cooperation with the Maumee Police Division and the Drug Enforcement Agency, will hold National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The goal of the event is to prevent pill abuse and theft by getting rid of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Area residents are invited to bring their medications to St. Luke’s for proper disposal. No liquids or aerosols will be accepted.
