TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) – Snow is starting to fall around northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, and WTOL is always looking for viewer photos to use on-air and online.
This winter, during snow and other severe weather events, we’ll even be using out community sites to show off viewer photos.
Due to high heat and humidity forecasts through the end of the week, the Area Office on Aging will open cooling centers in South Toledo through Friday, July 22.
The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio will open three cooling centers in South Toledo for senior citizens, or anyone wishing to stay cool Tuesday and Wednesday.
The City of Toledo will begin cleaning up storm debris on Tuesday, March 1 in parts of north and central Toledo. Crews will operate in the area bounded by Sylvania, Stickney, Bancroft and North Detroit before moving on to other neighborhoods. The clean up will be a joint effort between the Division of Parks and Forestry and the Division of Streets, Bridges and Harbor.
